Bad Thought: My employees don’t like me.
A recent client, Yolanda, came to me because she wanted to improve her relationships with co-workers. A small business owner, Yolanda had been struggling to connect with those who work for her. Theodore Kinni cites a series of recent studies that show that a simple inquiry about another person’s emotional feelings builds trust in that person and hence creates instant rapport.
